Calendar of public holidays in 2025 - how to effectively plan your vacation this year?

A new year has begun, which means a fresh batch of vacation days has hit your account! Congratulations! ;) This is the moment to take a look at the calendar of public holidays in 2025 and plan long weekends to maximize your relaxation time. In this article, we suggest how to plan your vacation for 2025! Check it out!

Let's take a look at the holidays in 2025 and how to combine them with vacation days to extend your free time:

• The turn of 2024 and 2025 is a great opportunity to use a few days of your vacation or plan work in your company to enjoy nearly two weeks of relaxation. You just need to take 2 days off in December (30, 31.12.) and 2 days off in January (2, 3.01) to combine celebrating New Year's with the Feast of the Three Kings. This year, January 6 falls on a Monday and is a good option even for a shorter trip - from Friday afternoon to Monday without using vacation days.

• Easter by the sea? That's a great proposal, especially if you plan to extend your stay and give yourself an additional 4 days off after the holidays, gaining a total of 8 days of relaxation from Holy Saturday, April 19, through the holiday days until April 27. It's really a good opportunity to spend Easter in a hotel by the sea and celebrate the Easter season in a unique atmosphere.

• This year's May holiday in 2025 also fits nicely into the calendar. Although we know that a vacation during this period can often last much longer, this year we also have no reason to complain. We can relax from Thursday, May 1, with a vacation day on Friday, through the holiday on Saturday, May 3, ending on Sunday, or... extending our trip a bit and using some vacation days. After all, the name itself indicates it's a vacation, so why not use it as intended? ;)

• In June, we have the eagerly awaited long weekend for Corpus Christi, which falls on June 19 this year, consistently on a Thursday! ;) It's already common for many companies to treat the Friday after Corpus Christi as a favorite day to take a vacation, so if you take advantage of it, you'll enjoy a 4-day long weekend by the Polish sea, which we warmly invite you to already. During Corpus Christi weekend by the sea, you will surely be able to feel the truly summer atmosphere.

• Another loved occasion for relaxation is the long August weekend. The height of summer and a few days off! Sounds tempting, doesn't it? The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 15 falls on a Friday this year. It's a great opportunity to enjoy the summer by the sea and relax without having to use an extra day off.

• All Saints' Day - November 1 falls on a Saturday this year. There have been occasions when this holiday provided a chance for a slightly longer reset, but unfortunately, that won't be the case this time. However, we do not have to wait long for a quite good opportunity to escape the city for several days. November 11 - National Independence Day, which falls on a Tuesday, definitely encourages extending your weekend and, with a vacation day on Monday, to spend 4 days away from home in truly autumnal weather. (If you love autumn, this weekend is just for you! ;) )

• Christmas (December 25-26) this year also gives the opportunity for a very long vacation.
