When to take a vacation in 2024

Planning a vacation with consideration of legally free days from work is an excellent way to extend rest and maximize the use of available vacation days. Below we will show you when and how many days of vacation you should plan to indulge yourself with long weekends in 2024 exceptionally often.

• By using 3 days of leave (2-5 January), you can enjoy as many as 9 days off right at the beginning of the year - during the period from New Year's until the Epiphany.

• 4 days of vacation planned after Easter will also provide us with 9 days off.

• May Day in 2024 can also extend to 9 days if we decide to use just 3 days of rest leave (29 and 30 April and 2 May).

• Another opportunity for a slightly later May Day getaway will be at the end of the month. Assuming that we only use one day of leave after the holiday of Corpus Christi, falling on Thursday, 30 May - we have 4 days off at our disposal.

• The next such chance for 4 days of relaxation will be on the Armed Forces Day and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, legally falling on Thursday, 15 August. To extend the holiday then, it's enough to plan an additional day off on Friday, 16 August.

• We will be tempted by a real vacation in November. An extended weekend by one day will be at the beginning of the month, as All Saints' Day in 2024 falls on a Friday. For the second time in November, we will rest longer during Independence Day, as 11 November falls on a Monday. It is also a good opportunity to extend the rest even more, planning 4 days off after 11 November. Such arrangement means that you will gain a total of 9 days for a unique journey and relaxation.

• Wanting to plan a trip during the Christmas period, we also have quite a nice opportunity. Using 7 free days at this time guarantees us as many as 17 days of vacation! What a treat! Take time off on 23, 24, 27, 30 December, and 2 and 3 January and devote it to a wonderful trip. Perhaps we will meet then at Hotel Linea Mare and spend this holiday time together?
